The 2018/19 season kicks of with the first ever stop in Asia

The world's fastest sport on skates will head east for the 2018/19 season opener on December 7/8, when Red Bull Crashed Ice lands in Japan for the very first time. Yokohama, the country's second largest city by population, will host the first stop as the world's best Ice Cross Downhill athletes begin their fight for the title.

Built inside a huge seaside park with Yokohama's picturesque Minato Mirai as a backdrop, expect a huge welcome by the home crowd for the Japanese and international athletes who will take on a unique, fast and exciting track.

The participation of Junko Yamamoto and the Yasutoko Brothers will ensure that the local fans have plenty to cheer about, while the title favourites will be hoping for a strong start into the new season in the Land of the Rising Sun.
